Dolores Ann Barribeau

Dolores Ann Barribeau (nee Janett), age 90, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2021.

Dolores was born on August 27, 1931, to Charles Janett and Molly Bowes (nee Koehler) in Centralia, WA.  She moved as a young child to Milwaukee, WI and spent the remainder of her life there.

Beloved wife of the late Donald J. Barribeau. They were married on February 15, 1954 and spent 57 loving years together.  She was a homemaker who took pride in raising her three daughters.

Dolores was a loving mother to Cheryl (Douglas), Donna and Teri, devoted grandmother to her 12 grandchildren: Kelly, Michael, Douglas, Dustin, Eric, Lindsay, Stephanie, Sandra, Kimberly, Teresa, Jeffrey and Natalie and 28 great-grandchildren.

Her life revolved around her large family. She was the rock that held our family together. She was a part of every event, always willing and able to help in any way.  She had an incredible sense of humor and always found a way to make you smile.  She was loved by many and will be deeply missed. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend. There will never be another like her.

Preceded in death by her late husband, Donald J. Barribeau, son-in-law Douglas, parents and a great-grandchild.

We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Froedtert for providing exceptional and loving care to Dolores.

A private ceremony will be held for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to the charity of your choosing.

I’m so sorry to hear of the death of Aunt Delores. I have many memories of her when I was a child. Her sweetness and beauty are the things I remember most. My heart is sad for her family left behind. I will remember them in my thoughts and prayers. Rest In Peace Aunt Delores.
