GUTKNECHT, Dolores Emily
nee Suelflow of Franksville, WI. Passed away Tuesday May 4, 2004 at All Saints Healthcare in Racine, WI at the age of 81 years.
Born July 18, 1922 to Charles Suelflow and Emily Fotsch Suelflow in Milwaukee, WI. Dolores attended Pulaski High School in Milwaukee, graduating in 1940.
On February 16, 1946 she was united in marriage to Charles A. Gutknecht at Layton Park Lutheran Church.
Dolores was the bookkeeper and chief financial officer for the Gutknecht family farm. She was a great baker and avid homemaker, making homemaking an art.
She was blessed to have three grandsons to whom she was a wonderful world class grandmother!
She is survived by her husband Charles A. Gutknecht. Daughters Ellen Gutknecht, Sandra George Novak, and son David Gutknecht all of Franksville, WI. Three grandsons Jason, Peter and Kevin Novak. Further being survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Preceeded in death by her parents; Charles and Emily Suelflow, sisters Gladys Knight, Myrtle Smerlinski, Crystal Weaver and Betty Newman and brothers George and Norman Suelflow.
Visitation will be Saturday May 8th at FRANKSVILLE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 10402 Northwestern Avenue from 9-10 AM with Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Westlawn Memorial Park.
