Entered peacefully into Eternal Life Wednesday, February 16, 2011, age 85 years. Beloved husband of Eleanor Hahlbeck nee Johnsen. Father of Keith Kathy Hahlbeck, John Hahlbeck, Karen Kevin Seigworth and Karla Paul Zizis. Grandfather of Emily, Claire and Caroline Seigworth. Brother of Richard Marilyn Hahlbeck and Jean Gerald Harder. Brother-in-law of Gertrude Lasch. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation Tuesday at the Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Wednesday at Centennial Ev. Lutheran Church, 3558 S. 24th St, from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM, followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Interment Arlington Park Cemetery.
Don was the former owner and operator of Hahlbeck Greenhouse, Inc., and a member of the Commercial Flower Growers of Wisconsin, of which he was inducted into their Hall of Fame. He was a U.S. Navy World War 2 Veteran.
