Born June 1946, was a retired Milwaukee Police Officer decorated for service in the Crime Analysis Unit. He passed on Tuesday, April 27th at the age of 74 after a 2-week fight with COVID. He was a loving, kind man with a knack for raising peoples’ spirits and pulling them together through a combination of charm and wit. He is preceded by his wife Lonanne “Lonnie” Fortier (Née Goodhue), who has likely asked him to rub her feet followed by “What took you so long?” Father of Annette, Brad (husband Dan), Todd, and dog companion Gus. Grandfather of Riley. Survived by 7 sisters and 2 brothers, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation and service will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (3722 S 58th St, 53220) on Saturday, May 8th. 12pm visitation with 1pm service. Masks will be required.  For gifting flowers https://www.welkes.com/heritage-funeral-home/
