Went to be home with his Savior on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at age 91. Born May 7th, 1924, Donald married his beloved wife Marjorie on October 8th, 1948. Donald served honorably with the US Army during WWII in Europe. He was a master machinist at various Milwaukee machine and fabrication shops. Donald was a tireless provider for his family and a faithful servant to his Lord. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing with his family. Loving father of Dan (Laura), Donna (Dick) Knisely, Tom (Cathy). Loving grandfather of Derek (Trisha), Jana (Joe) Peters, Meta (Uri) Maoz, Brian (Megan), Debbie (David) Brooks, David (Tara) Knisely, Carly (Charles) Wells, Danny (Sarah) and Michael. Great-grandfather of Jack, Grace, Claire, Benjamin, Emily, Jason, Sebastiana, Vance, Emerson, Iris, Reed and Max. Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie, and sisters Marilyn and Katherine. Also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation on Tuesday, September 8th at 10:00 am followed by funeral service at 11:00 am at RISEN SAVIOR LUTHERAN CHURCH, 9550 W. Brown Deer Rd. Interment 10 am on Wednesday at Arlington Park Cemetery. Memorials to Risen Savior Lutheran Church, or the Wounded Warrior Foundation are appreciated.
