Found Peace on Friday, May 4th, 2018 at the age of 92 years. Loving Husband of 65 years to the late Leatrice Beitzel (nee Peterson). Beloved Father of LeeAnn Markwardt, Donald (Diane) Beitzel and Beth (David) Betts. Grandfather of Dawn (Brent) Box, Donald J. (Kay) Beitzel, Nicholas and Tiffany Markwardt. Great-grandfather to Nathan, Nicolas Box and Buddy Beitzel. Further survived by his brother-in-law Walter Peterson, sister-in-law Nina Fletcher and Lucy Peterson, nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the FUNERAL HOME from 10AM until the time of service at 11:30AM. Interment at Arlington Park Cemetery.
Don was proud to have served in the Army during WWII. He was also a long time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and retired from Oscar Meyer. If so desired, memorials to the charity of your choice appreciated.
