Donald R. Rabe
Donald R. Rabe was welcomed home to eternal life August 1, 2023 at the age of 91. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Dolores M. Rabe (DeRosier). They both grew up in Oconto Wisconsin. He is survived by his 3 children Denise Witt (Dennis), Vicki Katarow (Frank) and Mark Rabe (Elaine). They moved to Milwaukee and then Franklin where they raised their family. Don retired from S.C. Johnson & Son. They have 6 grandchildren Sarah, Derek, Abbey, Kelsey, Grant and Alex, and 6 great grandchildren.
Don will be remembered as fun loving, caring, supportive and a great role model. He will be greatly missed by all including his friends from Alcoholics Anonymous. Don was very active in the program where he sponsored many people over the years and developed lasting friendships along the way.
We are having a private mass for him at Xavier Mission in Franklin.

We will surely miss Don. He was a fantastic neighbor who had quite a reputation on Cascade Drive. He was known as “Michael Jordan’ of neighbors and our family could count on him for anything we needed. Thanks for the wonderful memories and friendship Don!
