Dorothy A. Stathas
nee Schuster June 26, 2010 age 85 years. Beloved wife of 62 years of the late John Stathas. Loving mother of Terry Randy Groleau, Peter Mary Ann Stathas and Penelope Stathas. Special grandmother of Rachel Sean McMahon, Nicole Mike Good and Eben Stathas. “Gigi” was a cherished great-grandmother of Colin and Patrick McMahon. Dearest daughter of the late Harry Schuster and Margaret Roth and loving sister of the late Ruth Mohr. Dorothy was survived by many wonderful friends and family members who loved her dearly. Please gather to celebrate her life with the family on Wednesday, July 7 from 2-4 pm at Forest Home Cemetery Landmark Chapel, 2405 W. Forest Home Ave. MEMORIAL SERVICES at 4 pm. Private inurnment.

Beloved friend to many over the years, Dorothy was as loyal and graceful as they come, a true inspiration to all. A longtime employee of Quality Candy, she had fond memories of her time there and truly loved her job. She was extremely grateful to be alive long enough to know her great-grandsons Colin & Patrick, as they brought her so much joy. There were a few things in life that Dorothy truly loved; a competitive card game, a good bargain and cooking meals for her family and friends. Those of us who knew Dorothy best are better people because of it.
