Chasco, Dorothy Mae
(nee Polokonis) Born to Eternal Life May 1, 2018 age 91. Preceded in death by her beloved husband George A. Chasco, married for 64 years. Dearest mother of David (Carmen), Mark (Mary), and Amy (Robert) Wojcik. Dearest sister of Mary Jane Flower, Pauline “Betty” Ratliff, and John “Jackie” Palokonis. Preceded in death by her brothers Robert, Charles “Nicky”, and Tommy Polokonis. Survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
Retired employee of Milwaukee Public Schools. Volunteered at St. Veronica’s and St. Anthony’s, at fish fries, festivals, Feed the Hungry, numerous parish breakfasts and dinners for many decades, well into her 90th year prior to declining health. Special thanks to the outstanding staffs at Noel Manor in Verona, WI and Agrace Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 6, at the funeral home, from 5 PM – 7 PM, with a Vigil Service at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 7, at ST. VERONICA’S CHURCH (353 E. Norwich Ave.). Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
