Kleist, Dorothy M.
(nee Kirst) Fell asleep in the arms of her Savior on Sunday, February 10, 2013, age 89 years. Loving wife of the late Rev. Robert Kleist. Dear mother of Rev. James (Jody) Kleist, Patti (Greg) Alsch, Tom (Kris) Kleist and Nancy Just. Sister of Charles (the late Ruth) Kirst. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by sisters Eileen Kirst and Leola (the late Waldemar) Affeldt, and brother Herbert (the late Wilma) Kirst.
Visitation Thursday, February 14, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at ST. JAMES EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2028 N. 60th St., followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Interment Graceland Cemetery.
Mrs. Kleist enjoyed volunteering and supported many ministries.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. James Ev. Lutheran Church, Wisconsin Lutheran Institutional Ministries or Wisconsin Lutheran High School appreciated.
