Wendorf, Dorothy Ruth.,
(nee Granum) Entered eternal rest Saturday August 3rd, 2013 age 82 years. Survived by husband Clarence (Dusty), son Dan (Linda), grandchildren Natalie and Nolan, dearest daughter Danita (best friend Eric), Aunt Charlotte Woppert, 6 cousins and other relatives and friends.
Dorothy was a ‘49 graduate of Lutheran High School, and was employed as a school crossing guard dispatcher for the safety commission. Faithful member of Christ Memorial Ev. Lutheran Church, Senior Choir, Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, and Dorcas Society. Lifetime member of Sweet Adelines and Crosstown Harmony having recently received her 60 year pin.
Sincere appreciation and thanks to many friends for their support and to Horizon and Columbia St. Mary’s for their passion for patient care.
Visitation Monday August 12th at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, 3105 W. Thurston Ave, from 10AM-12PM, followed by funeral service at 12PM.
Interment Graceland Cemetery.
