      Hello Stephanie and Charlie-
We are so sorry to hear about Doug. Doug was an apprentice of my dad (Dick DeMore). My dad adored him. My mom was hoping to come to the funeral but just had surgery. We are thinking of you both.
      Lots of love-
The DeMore Family (Marilyn and kids)

    Dear Stephanie and Chuck,
Please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of your husband and father. We always enjoyed talking with him at the football games and track meets. Doug always had something funny to say! We are unable to attend the service but please know that we will be thinking of you then and in the weeks to come.

    Haegerl family,
I’m so very sorry for your loss. I had only known Doug for the three years I worked for JM Brennan, but the three years of knowing Doug were so, so awesome, Doug never failed to put a smile on everyone’s faces here at work, and he was truly one of a kind. Keeping your entire family in my thoughts and prayers. My sincerest condolences and deepest sympathy.
(Here is a photo from one of our company events this year… all laughs and all smiles of course.)
Doug will always be remembered, and he will be so missed!

Haegerl family, Linda and myself are so sorry to hear of your loss. I have not seen Doug for years but he was a great friend of our family when he worked for me at Murphy Miller. Sorry we can not attend services as we are now in Arizona. You and your family will be in Linda and my prayers.

IDoug left an everlasting impression on me in 4 short years of working with him at JM Brennan. He was always trying to make everyone he worked with better. When he started calling me Beef I laughed so hard and had to come up with a nickname for him. We would greet each other with Doug: “what’s up Beef?” And I would respond “what up Easy Rider?” I really enjoyed working with Doug and always wanted him on my jobs. He definitely made my job easier. When we moved into the mezzanine he christened it with a can that still proudly sits in the rafters where he placed it. Rest easy my friend, until we meet again.
