He returned to South Milwaukee where his dear wife, Catherine became sick. Surrounded by his family, Dover, took care of Catherine until her death in 2001.

For all of us who knew him, he was a wonderful Dad, Super Grandpa, friend, exceptional storyteller and a master gardener.
Dover was also a very proud member of Guiseppe Garibaldi Mutual Aid Society.

God, we hope you like garlic, tomatoes and green beans…
You are in for a real treat!

A heartfelt thank you to niece, Donna Bybee, Uncle Dover’s “special” Barber. For all of the haircuts and shaves on your one day off, whether it be at the hospital, nursing home rehab or the assisted living cneter. Daddy “loved” your haircuts and you made our road an easier one to travel. Thank you Cuz…

Special thanks to the “wonderful” staff at Franciscan Courts Assisted Living; Ellen, Chrystal, Cousin Carrie, Robin, Katie, Josie, Joy, Lisa, John and everyone else who took care of Dad. He loved all of you and all of the friends he made there. You made Dad’s last year of life very special. You gave him a place to call “home”. We are forever greatful…

Dad, when you left us , you took a part of each and every one of us, but you left a part of yourself in our hearts, to remain there forever…
We love you, Daddy.

Memorials to the Franciscan Courts Assisted Living or Salvation Army appreciated.
