Earl E. Curler
Passed peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, June 11th, 2023 at age 90. Dear husband of the late Carolyn (nee Dueberry), the late Ethel, and the late Phyllis (nee Tabat). Dear father of David (Christine), Anita (Kenneth) Seitz, Theresa (James) Ward, Barbara (Robert) Wasechek, Brian (Vicki) Curler. Loving grandpa of 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Further survived by 4 brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
Earl enlisted into the U.S. Army in April of 1950 and was Honorably Discharged in April of 1953. After his military service he worked at Ladish Company where he started as a general laborer and worked his way up to being a project manager and retired after 35 years of service.
In his younger years he enjoyed camping with his family and friends, dancing, listening to country and western music (as he called it), bowling, and was a fabulous cook.
Earl was a proud member of American Legion Oelschlaeger-Dallmann Post 434 since 1968. As a member of Post 434 he held several offices including 4 terms as Post Commander. He also held several offices in the American Legion Department of Wisconsin 4th District.
In his elderly years he enjoyed family visits, socializing at Post 434 (on his favorite barstool), and sweets. His favorites were donuts, butter pecan ice cream, and peanut M&M’s (he called them his vitamins). His favorite television shows were Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy (and you had better be prepared to watch them when visiting).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 19th, 2023 from 4pm to the time of service at 6pm at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME 9200 S. 27TH ST. Oak Creek. Private family interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.

Anita, I am so sorry for your loss. May he rest in the arms of our Lord and may our Lord give you his peace.
Earl was a great friend of our family. Sending our heartfelt condolences to his family.
We sent our deepest condolences to each of you during this difficult time. Death is never easy but to know Earl lived a full life with such a loving family and so many close friends is comforting.. Something that we have personally experienced to be of great comfort are the thoughts expressed in the Bible at John 5:28 “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his (Jesus) voice and come out “. May Jehovah God comfort you during this sad time in your life.
Uncle Earl may you rest in peace and watch over all those who knew and loved you. Praying for all the family.
