Earl Sherry Evans joined us on Earth November 4, 1923 in Hibbing, Minnesota. Earl left us on October 3, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Delores.

Earl graduated from Central High School in Minneapolis in 1941. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps on November 18, 1941 at Fort Snelling, Minneapolis. After training, Earl was assigned to various air bases in England via a six-day trip on the Queen Mary Ocean Liner. Earl was trained for Bombsight and Auto Pilot maintenance on B17, B24 and B25 Bombers. Earl was honorably discharged on November 11, 1945. But just before that, Earl married the love of his life, Delores Behselich on September 27, 1945.

Earl and Delores lived in Minneapolis while he attended the University of Minnesota on the G.I. Bill to which he graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Engineering Management.

In 1949, they moved to Brazil where Earl worked for U.S. Power Company. Their first daughter, Lark, was born there. They returned to the U.S. in 1951 where Earl took a job with Allis Chalmers. They lived in Franklin where their other three children, Linda, Stephen and David were born. Earl and Delores were among the founding members of the Franklin Players which later became the Suburban Players in Greendale. Delores was instrumental as a Playwright, Director and Actress while Earl used his carpentry skills to construct the sets. Earl and Delores were active in this community theater group for over 20 years.

Earl was then transferred for work to Bradenton, Florida in 1982, where he then retired in 1989 after 38 years of service. Earl and Delores later moved to Muskego, Wisconsin in 1991 to enjoy their children and their growing families.

After Delores passed away in 2006 due to a long illness, Earl lived quietly in Muskego. In his later years, Earl rekindled his love of aviation by skillfully building and flying his own radio controlled airplanes while being a member of several RC Clubs.

Earl is survived by Daughters, Lark (Carlon) Metcalf, Linda (Dennis) Hoeft and Sons, Stephen (Barbara) and David (Cynthia). Grandchildren, Sean, Sherry, Michael, Joel, Jennifer, Alyssa, Rachel and Wayne. Great Grandchildren, Ariana, Isabel, Evelyn, Ian, Seth, Coraline and Colin. Preceded in death by Parents Ray and Blenda, his Brother and Sister, Wayne and Beverle.

Visitation Monday, October 14, 2019 from 3-5:00 pm with a prayer service at 5:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home, 9200 South 27th Street, Oak Creek, Earl touched the lives of many people and will be fondly remembered by them.

Earl has gone to a more enjoyable existence and has been reunited with his Beloved Wife, Delores. Those of us left behind will miss his love, honesty, wisdom and caring spirit. Until we join you Earl, know that we love you and will cherish your memory always.
