Edith Ehleiter

Edith Ehleiter nee Butterfield of Harmony House of Racine, formerly of Caledonia died at St Mary’s Medical Center in Racine on Tues, August 28, 2001 at the age of 88 years.
Edith was born on December 02, 1912 in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Sidney and Virginia nee Kaye Butterfield. On April 23, 1932, she married Walter R, who preceded her in death on July 10, 1981. She was the owner/operator of Ehleiter’s Hardware Store in Caledonia. Edith was a proud member of the Racine County Homemakers.
Dear mother of Jean Tom Drefahl of the Town of Raymond. Mother-in-law of Fred Lois Walker Bauer Jr and MaryKay Ehleiter. Loving grandmother of Mark Darlene Bauer, Susan Chuck Kerkman, Janet Pete Blank Molback, Ronald Sheri Ehleiter, Laurie Ehleiter, Pamela Robert Browers, Jayme John Zurawski, Scott Ehleiter, Joseph Karen Puder Baumann, Steven Rosie Baumann, Robert Baumann, Karen Jeff Gilanyi and Thomas Baumann. Great-grandmother of 17 and great-great-grandmother of 1. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Along with Walter, Edith is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Virginia nee Kaye Butterfield; her daughter, Virginia Bauer; her son, Earl Ehleiter; her grandson, Ron Molback; her daughter-in-law, Marlene Ehleiter and her great-grandson, Chuckie Kerkman.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 31, 2001, 7:00PM at the funeral home chapel. Private entombment Forest Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-7:00PM time of service at the funeral home chapel.
