Died unexpectedly on Monday Feb. 2, 2009 age 79 years. Dear mother of Steve Sue McCarthy of Madison, Dawn Jeff Loss McCarthy and Mike Maggie McCarthy of Chandler Az. Loving grandmother of Sean and Sandy McCarthy. Sister of Nita Hodges of Louisiana, Robert Billye Henry of Texas and Linda Garcia of Texas. Loving friend of the late Pete Balistierri. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Saturday 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 4:00PM.

Edna Ruth was an active 79 year old who was an avid artist, and enjoyed her T’ai Chi and gardening, and always had plenty of hugs, smiles and kisses for her grandchildren, family and friends. Edna Ruth’s family would like to thank the Neurological support staff at St. Lukes Hospital for the tender care given.
