Caledonia – Found peace January 18, 2009 at the age of 83. Husband of Mary R. Schroeder. Dear father of Sharon Leonard Deschler and Laurie Steve Bertzyk. Grandfather of Cindy Henry Knoch, Michael Deschler, and Melisa Robert Willette. Great-grandfather of Kristopher, Justin, Michael, Shawn, Ashley, Michael, and Brett. Brother of David Shirley Schroeder, Michael Barbara Schroeder, and Bernice Hickcox. Preceded in death by his son Gary. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home, on Thurs., from 11 AM – 1 PM. Funeral Service will follow, at the Funeral Home, at 1 PM. Interment at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Decorated marine who proudly served in World War II. Member of Legion Post #494.
