Edward Roszkowski, 87, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021.  He was born in Racine on March 13, 1934, the son of the late Alexander and Leonia (nee Babinski) Roszkowski.  Ed graduated from Washington Park High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He served his country with the U.S. Air Force from 1954 – 1958.  On October 5, 1957 he was united in marriage to Patricia Polczynski.  Ed was a Professional Engineer and had been employed with various companies over the years including: Morgen Design, Bucyrus-Erie, and CIMA.  Ed was a long time member of St. Roman Catholic Church and transitioned in recent years to St. James Catholic Church.  Ed was previously involved with the Milwaukee Rose Society and showed his prized roses at the Wisconsin State Fair.  An avid golfer he assisted with coordinating the Grant Park Senior Golf League for a number of years.  Over the years Ed and Pat were fortunate enough to travel to a number of destinations including: France, Hawaii, Germany, Japan, and all over the United States.  Ed is survived by his cherished wife, Pat; son-in-law Scott Loosen of Oak Creek; beloved grandchildren Ryan (Nichole) Loosen of South Milwaukee; Andrew (Stacey) Loosen of Racine; and great grandchildren Sawyer and Presley Loosen.  Many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive him including sister-in-law Faith and Phyllis Roszkowski.  Ed was preceded in death by his loving daughter Mari, brothers and sisters: Harriet Kaminski, Walter (Margaret) Roszkowski, Casimir “Kayo” (Katie) Roszkowski, Stanley (Betty) Roszkowski, Eugene (Winifred) Roszkowski, Sophie Pierce, and Chester Roszkowski.  A Memorial Mass, celebrating his life, will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 7219 S. 27th Street in Franklin, on Thursday, May 6th at 11:00 am.  Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 9:30 am until the 11:00 am Mass.  Burial will occur following the conclusion of Mass at Arlington Park Cemetery.
