Edward L. Schroeder
of East Troy, found peace October 15, 2001 at Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn with his family at his side, at the age of 82. Edward was born on April 3, 1919 in Milwaukee, to parents Charles Schroeder and Albertina Rolloff . He married his bride Betty Payne on August 21, 1955 at First Methodist Church in Beloit and has been a lifelong resident of East Troy. He was a employee of Trent Tube for 23 yrs. Edward was a proud World War II Vet. serving in the 337th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.

Edward is survived by his wife Betty, Sons Edward Jr.Kathy, Carl, Russell Arlene Schroeder, all of Elkhorn, WI; Grandchildren Jeremiah, Kimberly, Jennifer, Michael; Sister-in-law Beverly Haas; Brother-in-law Walter Hansen; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceeded in death by his three Brothers and four sisters; Clarence, Grace Thomas, Harold, ElmerScotty, Alice Hastings, Eunice Becker, and Florence Hansen.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 18, 2001 from 4-8 PM at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOMES, 2974 Main St. EAST TROY. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 19, 2001 at 11AM ST. PAUL’S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH 2665 North St. East Troy with visitation from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment Oakridge Cemetery to follow Pastor Timothy Kujath Officiating.
