Edward Oleniczak, age 94, was born to eternal life on April 13, 2021. Surrounded by his family, Ed was reunited with his loving wife, Helen, and is now with his heavenly father. Cherished father of Michael (Corrine), Mary Stollenwerk, Tom (Joan) and Patti (John) Dew. Loving Grandpa of 10 and Great-Grandpa (Papa) of 6. Preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Jenny (Tony) Kubek, John (Jeanette), Stella, Katherine (Joseph) Yumet, Ann (William and John) Czajkowski, Roman (Adeline) and Frank. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ed retired from the United States Post Office after 30+ years. He was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and played and umpired baseball for many years. Known as “Mr. O.”, he coached basketball for several years at St. Gregory the Great.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home (6615 W. Oklahoma Avenue), Friday April 23rd at 9am. Mass of Christian burial will follow at St. Gregory the Great Parish (3160 S. 63rd Street) at 11am with burial at St. Adalbert Cemetery following the mass. Memorials to St. Gregory the Great Parish are appreciated.

A special thank you to Sheryl Gilman for the loving care and assistance to Dad over the last several months as well as to the staff of Aurora West Allis and Synergy (Paul and Randy) who were able to provide care and support in his final days.
