nee Afonins Entered Eternal Life when God called her home on January 22, 2011, at the age of 99 years and 5 months. Beloved wife of the late Karlis. Also preceded in death by her son Janis ?John?, who was killed in action defending our freedom in Korea in 1953. She is survived by her son Eriks Inara, granddaughter Sandra Edmunds and grandson Zigurds Patricia. Also survived by relatives in Latvia and friends in the Latvian community in Milwaukee.
Services will be held on Wednesday, January 26 at 1PM at WISCONSIN MEMORIAL PARK, Chapel of the Flowers, with visitation beginning at 12:30PM. Private Entombment.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Latvian Association Children?s Fund Drosais Tilts appreciated.
