Elaine
Reinemann

Reinemann, Elaine
(nee Meyer) Elaine went Home to be with her Savior on Friday, March 20, 2015, at the age of 94 years. Her loving husband of 68 years, Arthur, went to Heaven in 2013. Dear mother of Mark (Wendy) Reinemann. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends all of whom she loved and valued deeply. Elaine loved her family very, very much and they loved her back.

Elaine met Art at Christ Church in 1935 when Art spotted her and asked her to be in the church play. Thus began a lifelong journey of many wonderful experiences and memories. Elaine worked for many years at Badger Mutual Insurance Company, rising to Assistant Vice President – a significant accomplishment for a woman in the 1950’s. In 1957, their son Mark came into their lives. She loved playing golf, especially with her husband and son, and possessed an excellent short game typically ending every hole with a great chip and one putt!

Elaine spent her life in service to her Lord, as a leader of the Ladies Guilds at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wisconsin Lutheran High School and Wisconsin Lutheran Child and Family Service. Elaine frequently shared her faith with others and represented the conscience of the Reinemann and Meyer families. Upon the birth of Mark, Elaine put aside her business career and joyfully raised her son and supported her husband. She truly was a member of “the Greatest Generation” growing up in the Depression, living through World War II and helping to build post-war America.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Elaine’s care givers, Alicia and Grace, from Always Best Care, who cared for her in her home 24/7 as she wanted it. The family also wishes to extend an extra special thanks to Pastor Joel Jaeger of Christ Church who ministered regularly to Elaine when she could not get to church.

This is not a time for sadness or condolences. This is a time for celebrating Elaine’s victory of eternal life in Heaven!

Visitation Wednesday, March 25 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home and Thursday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2235 W. Greenfield Ave., followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Good Hope Cemetery, 43rd and Coldspring Road.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Reinemann Scholarship Fund at Wisconsin Lutheran High School or to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church are appreciated.
