nee Krahn June 27, 2010 age 88 yrs. Beloved wife of the late Emil H. Dear mother of Elizabeth Harvey Koester, the late Thomas E., Mary B. Smith, and James Linda Otto. Grandmother of Scott Kimberly Koester, David Lisa Koester, Daniel Otto and Jacquelyn Otto. Great-grandmother of Davis, Wyatt, Logan and Morgan Koester. Sister of the late Anita Kiefer and the late Edna Krahn. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Wed. June 30, 4-8pm with funeral services at 7:30pm at the funeral home. Eleanor was a resident of the Concord at Harbour Village, a past member of the Homemaker’s Club and the Christian Mother’s Society. Eleanor was afflicted with Expressive Aphasia as a result of a stroke in 2000. Despite the adversity, she kept on smiling, participating and was always cheerful. Memorials to the National Aphasia Association appreciated.
