Pochowski, Eleanor
nee Krawczyk Born February 18, 1914, peacefully passed away on August 8, 2010. Eleanor packed an extraordinary life into her 96 years; her positive attitude, cheerful disposition, faithfulness and optimism were inspirational. She loved working at Mikkelson s, dancing at the Eagles Club, raising a family of 4 children with Clem her loving husband, working at JC Penney s, founding and leading the Senior Citizen Group at Our Lady Queen of Peace church and being a Lector and Eucharistic Minister.

Embracing her now are husband Clemens; siblings, Florence, Ben, and Adeline and grandson, Kyle. Missing her are her children Bernadette, Donald, Robert Anne and Gregory Sandy, and her grandchildren, Keith, Alek, David, Leigh Ann, Laura and Mark. A special thank you to her niece Jane and her husband Lloyd for unsurpassed love and care during Ellie s latter years.

Visitation, Thursday August 12, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Services held on Friday August 13, 2010 with coffee and schnecks from 8-9 AM at the Palmer House Chapel, 3023 S. 84th Street, which is between Oklahoma Ave and Beloit Road. Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:00 AM in the chapel. Burial service at 11:00 AM at Woods National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity.
