Elfa O. Foldi

Foldi, Elfa O.
Passed away on December 23, 2012 at the age of 77. She was born in Riga, Latvia, spent seven years in Germany and came to the United States in 1951. Elfa attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign earning a Bachelor of Architecture professional degree and was licensed as a professional architect in several states. She enjoyed art, opera, classical music, and travel. In recent years she taught drawing, painting and crafts to senior citizens. Throughout her life she was active in the Latvian community. Memorial service to be held 1:00 PM Saturday January 26, 2013 at St. Peter’s Latvian Lutheran Church, 450 Forest Preserve Drive, Wood Dale, IL 60191. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to the “Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Holy Trinity Church of Milwaukee” or “Latvian Center Garezers.”
