Elisabeth L. Harders “Betsy

May 3, 1933 – October 24, 2023  (nee Sitz) Joined the Saints Triumphant on Tuesday, October 24^th, having served her Lord faithfully for 90 years.  Preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerome. Dearest mother of John (Yesenia), Katherine, Paul (Jennifer), Thomas (Beth) and Kristin.

Proud grandmother of Raianna, Olivia, Marques, Emily, John Jr., Mikayla, Madelyn, and Sarah. Loving great-grandmother of Aiden, Elijah, Liam, Abigail, Andrew, Charlotte, and Grace.  Further survived by beloved nephew Jeffrey (Karen) Sitz and niece Jennifer (Eric) Pearsall.

Betsy graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1955, and began her teaching ministry at St. Paul’s in Cudahy, Wisconsin.

She married Jerome Harders in 1961.  Together they raised five children in West Allis, Wisconsin.  Betsy was kind and giving, and her love for Jesus was evident to everyone she met.

Visitation Monday, October 30, 2023 at  Living Hope Lutheran Church, 1235 S. 100^th St. West Allis from 11:00 AM  until the time Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Private interment Wisconsin Memorial Park.
