Elizabeth "Betsy"
Marusic
(nee Larson)
Passed away peacefully on January 10, 2022 in her loving home surrounded by her family at the age of 47. Devoted wife for over 25 years to Mike. Cherished mother to Samuel (Shelby), Spencer and Wesley. Dear sister to Rebecca (Beth), David (Kristen) and Chris (Jessica). Beloved daughter to Lawrence and Margaret Larson. Daughter-in-law to Nicholas and Jeanne Marusic. Sister-in-law to Brian (Moni) and Niki (Brian). Aunt to Chelsea, Robyn, Julia (Zac), Harrison, Atticus, Stella, Winston, Oscar and Colton. Cousin to Claire, Natalie, Andrew and Emily. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
Betsy loved her family dearly and raising her children was one of her greatest achievements. You could often find Betsy out in the garden working on her flowers, especially her tulips, going to thrift stores or rummage sales. When she wasn’t taking care of her family, gardening or thrifting, Betsy was likely playing Candy Crush.
A memorial visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S. 84th St. Greenfield) on Tuesday, Jan. 18, from 3-7pm with a Time of Sharing at 7pm.
Masks will be highly recommended regardless of vaccination status.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice are appreciated.

Betsy and I went to high school together at SMA. We also spent many, many years together at LC. She’s been in my life for so long, and for that… I’m blessed. She often made me laugh until my cheeks hurt!
I’ll miss her dearly.
Prayers for your entire family.
My deepest sympathies to the entire Larson and Marusic families. There are no words to assuage this loss of Betsy to all of you.
