Fitzgerald, Elizabeth Betty
Passed away on November 19, 2010 at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her sister Marge the late Michael Bednarik and her two brothers, Jim the late Dolores and Mike Jill Fitzgerald; nieces and nephews, Jim Janice Fitzgerald, Jeff Mimi Fitzgerald, Janelle Jack Janz, Dann Lisa Fitzgerald, Peggy Randy Schmidt, Mary Shep Crumrine Bednarik, Joan Eric Lien and Lisa Bob Lamb. She is further survived by many great nieces and great nephews, and one great great nephew. She was preceded in death by her brother Jerris Mary Leonard.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 – 4pm at ST. PIUS X CHURCH, 2506 N. Wauwatosa Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 4pm. Private interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
Betty worked for her Dad, who had started the Herb Fitzgerald Co. in 1946, and was the Secretary/Treasurer until her retirement. Customers will always remember her for posting emergency service calls on her glasses to make sure they were taken care of. Betty was always there to help anyone in anyway she could. She always had a smile and will be remembered for it. She always said, “Am I glad I came.” Betty, we are all glad too.
Thanks to all the caregivers at the Lutheran Home. You treated Betty like your own family.
