McCrindle, Elizabeth M.

nee Keeser Betty, recently of Muskego, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at the age of 82. Loving mother of Kevin Beth and Kathleen Tom MacDonald. Grandmother of Megan, Katie Nick Kroeger and Colin Meika McCrindle and Andrew and Brenna MacDonald. Predeceased by her parents Carl and Ida Keeser and her husband Carlton.

Betty was raised and spent most of her life in West Allis. A 1945 graduate of Nathan Hale High School, she worked as a secretary at Great Lakes Naval Training Center where she met Carlton. She was active at her former church, Oklahoma Avenue Lutheran, and her present congregation, Hales Corners Lutheran, where she sang in the choirs. As an avid golfer, Betty played in several area leagues and enjoyed working out at Bally’s on South 76th. She also treasured lifelong friendships with her high school girlfriends. Betty was a member of PEO Chapter CE. She had also volunteered as a docent at the Pabst Mansion.

A memorial service celebrating Betty’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at HALES CORNERS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 12300 W. Janesville Road. Betty’s family will receive visitors from 4:00 pm to the time of the service at 7:00 pm. If desired, memorials to SteepleView, Inc., Hales Corners Lutheran Church or Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice greatly appreciated.
