World War ll veteran Elmer A. Hoernke Jr. passed away on Veterans Day, Friday, 11/11/11, age 88 years. Loving husband of Dolores nee Doll Hoernke. Father of Linda John Callewaert, the late Lynn Marie Kirchner Hoernke, Dianne Robert Foght and Paul Linda Hoernke. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Visitation Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at ST. JOHN’S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 10302 S. 27th St., Oak Creek, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Raymond, WI.
Elmer was a member of Harvey Funk American Legion Post #494, VFW Post and the 40 & 8.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church or Harvey Funk American Legion Post #494 appreciated.
