GREENDALE – Ellie Kaczmarek (nee Ramponi) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the age of 97. She was the loving wife of the late Roy J. Kaczmarek for 61 years. Ellie was born in Stambaugh, Michigan on May 21, 1924.
Ellie was the dearest mother to the late Martha “Marty” (nee Kaczmarek) & Tom Oelmann, Mary (nee Kaczmarek) & John Moser, David & Tina Jensen, Gregory & Sue (nee Evinrude), and Diana Gallegos. She was a grandmother to 9, and great-grandmother to 17. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was a resident and friend to many at Harbour Village in Greendale.
She grew up in Milwaukee, attending Bay View High School, working many years in administrative positions at Kearney & Trecker, Milwaukee Public Schools and finally retiring from her job at the Milwaukee County Courthouse. In between those jobs, she most enjoyed being a housewife, and raising her family. In addition to Ellie’s love of her family, she loved music and animals.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 9th at ST. ALPHONSUS PARISH, 6060 W. Loomis Rd, Greendale, from 9:30AM -10:45AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM.
Entombment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Wisconsin Humane Society.

To my cousin’s, I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Ellie’s passing. My memories of her are so very dear. I remember her as a little powerhouse, always bustling around making sure everyone had what they needed…and we always did. Sunday mornings after church ..with all of you and Aunt Ellie in the kitchen is a memory I cherish. My love and blessings. I miss you guys…your cousin Kay
