Naida Reyes

Went home to Heaven on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Loving wife of Edwin. Incredible mom to Alejandro (Kris), Nathaniel (Sarah), and Ariana. Awesome abuelita to Ethan, Leo, and Eva. Sister to Esther, Gabriel, Ana, and Brunilda. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her mother, Herminia (Mita) and her siblings, Benjamin, Gladys, and Murien.

Naida will be dearly missed. She brought joy into every room, especially with her infectious laugh.

She was also a spiritual director for the Archdiocese, ministering to many women. Ministry was very important to Naida, and she was heavily involved with many groups within the parish and the community.

Naida was that family member that I always saw with a smile on her face and laughter in her voice. She was always interested in what I had to say and always saw the bright side of any situation. A piece of our family is not here anymore but she is in the place we all hope to be one day. Will miss her dearly.

Dear brother Edwin, May God’s grace, love, mercy and the joy of Naida returning home to our Lord be a source of support and strength for you and your family at this time of loss. Too often people do not recognize or realize the depth and endless contribution the wife of a deacon and certainly in the life and contributions of Naida. are making and have made. She will missed, but the lives of those she touched will be changed forever . Continued blessings and comfort to you on the road ahead. Deacon Bill and Dorothy Clark

Dear Edwin, Ale, Nathan and Ari. Words cannot express the gratitude for allowing us to see Naida, to let her know that we love her and to say “good-bye” from this world. I, like so many other people Naida touched have many wonderful memories. I still look to see her on your front porch, see her smile and wave hello. I will always look for her there and, hear her wonderful laugh. She was a blessing to your family and this world. God bless your family.
