Of New Lisbon, WI formerly of Town of Raymond. Born to this life in Medford, WI on Jan.2, 1924 and born to Eternal life on Friday Dec. 12, 2014 age 90yrs. Married to the late Florence (nee Bathke) on May 18, 1946. Dear father of the late Darrell “Butch”, Lori (the late Russ) Hinojosa, Janet (Ted) Bova, Wayne (Elaine), Fred (Connie) and Karen (Jeff) Hoffman. Loving grandfather of 14, great grandfather of 23 and great great grandfather of 5. Further survived by sisters, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thurs. Dec. 18, 2014 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home and on Friday at TRINITY EV LUTHERAN CHURCH in Union Grove (2908 So. Colony Ave.) from 10am until the time of service at 11am. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in the Town of Raymond.
Ernest was proud to have been a lifetime member and to have served as Commander of the Harvey Funk American Legion Post 494. If so desired memorials to St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Mauston, WI greatly appreciated.
