Passed away peacefully on June 9, 2017, age 93. Loving husband of the late Clarissa. Dear Dad of Mark (Cyndie), James (Donna), Dennis (Christine Prevetti), Geralyn (Mark) Spankowski, Maureen (Dan) Holahan, and the late Mark Eugene. Loving Grandpa of Jenny (Chris), Tim (Eva), Sean, Brian, Andy, Christine (Brett), Jessica (Nick), Tom (Julia), the late Joseph, Jeff, Brendan, Eamon, Clare, Maeve, and Fiona. Great-grandfather of Ethan, Aila, Ella, Evan, Pearl, Clare, and Matthew. Also survived by his sister Arlene, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and caring friends.

The family wishes to thank the staffs of Clement Manor and Seasons Hospice. You made Dad’s life so much better. To Jim, Dad’s right hand man, thank you.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 19, from 4-8 PM, at the funeral home with a Vigil Service at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 20, at 10 AM, at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church (3132 S. 63rd St.). Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Gregory the Great Parish.
