Beloved father of Bridget Mary Therese Mark Kirkish, Brian Eugene Gerard Kelly Karth, Michele Maureen Erin Ron Zielinski, Victoria Anne Madelyn Ken Fugiasco and the late Kevin Gerard Karth. Dear grandpa of Jackie, Jordan, John and Anthony. Brother of Madelyn Fury of Delaware, Marietta Matz and Henry Karth. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation Sunday from 3-6 PM at the Funeral Home. Services Monday, 9:15 AM from the Funeral Home to THE BASILICA OF ST. JOSAPHAT for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Retired employee of MMSD. Member of VFW Post 3091, Red Arrow Club of Milwaukee, and former member of Immaculate Conception Church. Memorials to VFW Operation Uplink appreciated. Eugene proudly served his country during WWII with the 32nd Infantry Division, Co. K-127the Infantry. Of his 58 months enlisted, he spent 38 months in Australia and in combat in New Guinea in Battle of Buna and the Battle of Druinamoor River. He was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Bronze Star, and the S.W. Pacific Medal with 2 battle stars. He was discharged from the army on August 14, 1945 V.J. Day with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Eugene loved God and his Country. A special thank you to the 2nd Floor Staff at The Terrace of St. Francis, especially Robin, and to Dr. Neni and Dr. Chintamaneni.
