Nee Emerich Of Caledonia was Called Home to the Lord on Wed, April 27th, 2011 at the age of 89 yrs. Beloved wife for 59yrs.of the late Tony. Dear Mother of Gina Knierim, Gary Karen, GreggPenny, GwenGene Lebon, GrantDarlene and GuyMerry DeCheck. Loving Grandmother of Jessica, Nicole, Danielle, Anthony, Gavin Jaime, Jacob, Joshua, Desiree, Shane, Justin, Matthew, Amanda, Toni, Emily and Guy. Great Grandmother of Demari. Sister of Bernice Daniels and LaVern Fodor. Sister in-law of Athleen Emerich, LaVerne Emerich and Verne Funk. Preceeded in death by her parents, 5 sisters, 6 brothers, nieces and nephews. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the Funeral home chapel from 4 until 8pm with a Vigil service at 7:30pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 2, 2011, 10:00am at ST. LOUIS CHURCH 13207 Hwy G in Caledonia. Please meet directly at the church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Evelyn was an active member of the Caledonia Lioness Club for many years. Evelyn also enjoyed quilting, gardening, and especially loved cooking for her family every Sunday.
