nee Frei. formerly Middlestead, called home to the Lord on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at the age of 96 yrs. Beloved wife of the late Lester Schaefer and the late Robert Middlestead. Dear mother of Travis Kathleen and James Susan Middlestead. Loving grandmother of Christopher Michelle, Bena Kevin, Sherry, James and Jeffrey Shari. Great-grandmother of 9. Sister of Virginia Coates. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Thurs. July 12, at 11:00 AM at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7400 W. Lapham St.. The Rev. Richard Peterson, officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Lutheran Church, appreciated.
