Chilson, Francis J., was reunited with his beloved wife, Frances, of 70 years, and his son, Peter on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at the age of 101. Amazing dad of Mike, Pat, Shelly (Bill) Madden, Brigid (Butch) Derrick, Lynn (Dick) Buschmann, Trinette (Gordy) Behling, Bill (Teresa), Marty (Sue), and Shawn (Carol). He was a loving grandpa of 24, and great-grandpa of 40.  Also survived by sisters-in-law, Dorothy & Millie, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Fran was a kind and generous man who worked hard all of his life, and he was a talented woodworking craftsman. He was a longtime member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in St. Francis, WI. He loved to watch his favorite sports teams (Packers, Bucks, Brewers and Badgers). Fran proudly served his country with the United States Navy during World War II. He considered himself fortunate to experience the Stars & Stripes Honor Flight in 2015. He will always be our Hero.

Visitation will be on Sunday, May 9th, from 2-5 pm at Heritage Funeral Home, 9200 S. 27th Street Oak Creek . Visitation to continue on Monday, May 10th, 9:30-10:45 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 3635 S. Kinnickinnic Ave, St. Francis, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 am.  Private entombment Forest Home Cemetery.
