Found peace Dec. 23, 2007 after a long courageous battle with kidney failure, age76 years. Beloved, cherished husband of Dolores nee Kolasinski of 53 years. Proud, loving father of Gary Karen Johannsen-Talsky and Brian Talsky. Dear brother of Anne Meinhardt. Brother-in-law of Lillian Kolasinski. Special uncle of Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz and Sr. Collette Bruskewitz of Lincoln, NE. Fond Godfather of Timothy Odehnal, Lambert ?Mike? Meyer, Carl Meinhardt, Amy Waloszyn and Diane Coolidge. Further survived by many dear nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Sat. Dec. 29th, 9-10:30am with Funeral Mass at 10:30am at ST. ALEXANDER?S CHURCH, S. 16th and W. Holt Ave. Entombment Mt. Olivet. Francis served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps as a radio operator aboard the Command Communications Ship USS Pocono. Employee of Wisconsin Electric Power Company for 37 years. He helped organize, manage and coach the E.M.B.A. Hales Corners Baseball League Team, coached baseball and basketball for Catholic youth teams of St. Alexander School. Served as Webelos leader, Cubmaster and Scoutmaster of B.S.A. Pack and Troop 266 of St. Alexander School. Served as President of the Parents Organization of the former St. Francis de Sales Preparatory Seminary High School. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Gregory the Great Seminary 800 Fletcher Road Seward, Nebraska 68434-8145.
