Found peace and was welcomed into God’s loving arms on April 12, 2016. He was born on June 23, 1941 in Ironwood, MI, son of the late Frank and Ann Bednar. As a child he resided in the Ironwood area and attended Ironwood schools. Frank is survived by his wife Carol (nee Koski), son Frank Jr. (Jayne), daughters Karin and SuAnne (Matthew Schuster). Proud grandfather of Lauren and Jenna. Brother of Mary Ann Mohr and Thomas (Kathleen). Further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

His passion was woodworking and reading. After retirement he volunteered for 12 years at the Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday May 1, 2016 at ADORATION LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3840 W. Edgerton Ave., Milwaukee, WI from 1-2PM with a Funeral Service at 2PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Oak Creek Public Library or Adoration Lutheran church appreciated.
