Frank “Bud” Hernet

Born to Eternal Life December 27, 2021. Age 89 years. Beloved husband of Janice (nee Binon) Loving father of Jennifer (Dave) Lewandowski, Jonathan (Lisa) Hernet, Frank (Erika) Hernet, Amy (Bruce) Johnson, Debra (Steve) Liebert, Kathi (Scott) Landowski, James (Irene) Groh, Judy (Bill) Buelow and Donald Hernet. Further survived by 22 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bud proudly served his country as an Army Medic during the Korean War where he received numerous accolades for his military service. He owned and operated a Texaco station and also worked many years as a service manager at a major trucking center. Bud was an avid fisherman and loved deer hunting, but  he also enjoyed just “looking for deer at dusk” with his family or hunting for treasures at garage sales.

There will be a Memorial Mass at the end of January – details will be added once the services have been finalized.

Inurnment with Military Honors will follow the Memorial Mass at Southern WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery 21731 Spring Street, Union Grove, WI  53182-9707.
