January 26, 1945 – November 9, 2022
On November 9, 2022, Frank Glenn Diedrich passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was the loving son of Arleen and Frank Diedrich and proud veteran of the United States Army. Devoted husband of the late Rosalie Diedrich for 56 years; father to the late Glenn Diedrich and Jennifer Diedrich. Grandfather to Erich Otto, Cas Castello, Alexander Diedrich, Stephanie (CJ) Noggle, Ashley Diedrich, and Melynda (Cody) Lee. Great-Grandfather to Ayden Edmondsen. Frank always managed to come up with the perfect comment for the situation, even if it was just muttered under his breath. He took joy in his Green Bay Packers and loved seeing the world—and the family that he loved—through the lens of his camera. He loved to travel and will be thrilled to do some real-time genealogy research with family members in heaven.
A visitation will be held Monday, November 14th, from 10:00 am-11:00 am at Hales Corners Lutheran Church (12300 W. Janesville Rd. Hales Corners) with a funeral service to immediately follow at 11:00am.
Our heartfelt sympathy and loving thoughts to all Frank’s family. Frank and Rosie were our dear friends since Fred and Frank were Army buddies.. we have such special memories of all our visits together each time we came to Milwaukee. Our last visit with Frank was just 2 weeks ago.. Prayers for comfort and peace..
My heart goes out to the family as I remember the wonderful times Jon and I had with Frank and Rosalie, our dear friends for over 50 years. My sympathy and prayers are with the entire family for God’s peace during this most difficult time.
It was sad to get the news of another great Diedrich has left this earth. My thoughts are with the entire family. I was a great pleasure to get the chance to meet both him and Glenn, together with Alexander back in 2018. Frank was the first I manage to get in touch with among the descendants of Marit Olsdatter Sørhus who left Norway back in 1859, and his research on the family helped me move forward in my research. Gods peace and encourage be with you all.
My sympathy on Frank,s passing. . I have good memories of the years he was my district manager at Ameritech (now AT&T). The “EIS Moose lodge” had many memorable dinners together. Frank and Rosalie will be missed.
Frank was a member of the Information Technology department at Wipfli. I enjoyed his thoughtfulness and discipline. Condolences to the family. Fond memories of our time working together.
