Called home to the Lord on Monday March 20, 2017 at age 87. Beloved husband of the late Mary Louise “Lou” (nee Block). Dear father of Michael (Janice), Thomas (Connie) and Karen (Paul) Gimbel. Loving grandfather of Shannon, Ryan, Daniel (Theresa), Jason, Brett (Emily), Jared, Jonathan (Jill), and Jessica (Timothy). Great-grandfather of Evan, Emmett, Ian, Jayden, Ryleigh, Logan, and Hayes. Also survived by one sister, one brother, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place on Thursday March 23, 2017 at LUTHER MANOR FAITH AND EDUCATION CENTER (4545 N 92nd St, Wauwatosa) from 4pm until the time of service at 6pm.

Frank was proud to have served in the Korean Conflict and was a graduate of UW-Madison. In his honor you are invited to wear your Wisconsin Badger apparel to his funeral. The family wishes to thank the loving staff of Vitas Hospice and the special care of Pastor Dave Patterson.
