Life long resident of Caledonia. May 30, 2010 at the age of 79 years. Husband of the late Virginia nee Ehleiter. Special friend of Lois Walker. Loving father of Mark Darlene Bauer of Stevens Point, Susan Chuck Kerkman of Raymond and Janet Pete Blank Molback of Fountain City. Grandfather of Tom Dawn Bauer, Kimberly Nathan Roberts, Tonya Brian Zarecki, Matthew Amanda Molback and Megan Gavin Hart. Great-grandfather of Melissa, Rachel, T.J., Dylan, Abby, Trenton and Taelyn. Son of the late Frederick J. Bauer Sr. and the late Helen Leinen. Brother of Bernie the late Edwin Zeisse, Jack Clare Bauer and Carol Jerry Gresk. Brother-in-law the late Earl Mary Kay Ehleiter and Jean Tom Drefahl. Son-in-law of the late Walter and Edith Butterfield Ehleiter. Preceded in death by one grandson Chuckie and one son-in-law Ronald Molback. Further survived by other family members Debbie, Jerry, Gwen Tony and Sonny?s right hand man Randy Willms, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 1:00pm in the FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL. Visitation will take place from 9:00am until the time of the service 1:00pm.

Sonny was a retired employee of the Caledonia Highway Department and owner/operator of Bauer Produce which was sold at many farmer?s markets. He was a dedicated member of the Caledonia Fire Department, the Sno-Lords Snowmobile Club and St. Louis Parish.
