Called home to the Lord on Saturday, December 19^th, 2020 age 84 years. Beloved husband of Karen (Nee Hoppe). Dear father of Brad (Lisa) Tank and Craig (Lynn) Tank. Loving grandfather of Nick, Madeline, Mitchell (Katelynn) and Clare (Fiancé Adam).  Great-grand Papa of Addison, Zoey and Parker. Brother of Richard Tank. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Private funeral services were held with interment at Highland Memorial Park.

Fred enjoyed a long retirement after many years operating an American Family Insurance Agency. Fred was very dedicated in serving his church and his Lord throughout his life. His faith and family were his priorities. He had many hobbies and interests, one of them being wood carving. He did this for pleasure primarily, but also was commissioned by several restaurants and bars to provide customized works. He enjoyed music, movies, reading (especially history), classic cars and 1950s culture. Above all, he and Karen enjoyed being with family, spending countless hours with their grandchildren and great grandchildren throughout the years  –  providing childcare, sleepovers, attending their many sporting events and band concerts and just generally spoiling them with love and affection.
