Called home to the Lord on Friday, November 15, 2013 at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Joanne (nee Gunther) for over 52 years. Dear father of Bonnie (Mark Mader) Gauger and Mark Gauger. Brother of Steve (Carol) Gauger. Brother-in-law of Donald (Sandy) Gunther, Gerald (Dione) Gunther. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Noon at the FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7pm and Thursday morning from 11 am until the time of service (Noon). Private family burial Lakeview Memorial Cemetery in Oshkosh, WI.

Gary retired as the Chief Scientist at Cooper Power Systems Inc. in Franksville, WI and had many patents. Gary was proud to have been a lifetime member of the American Chemical Society and the ASTM International. Thank you to everyone who provided care for Gary. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation greatly appreciated.
