Gary Frank Martin
Martin , 59, formerly of Caledonia, passed away Friday, January 18, 2008. He was born in Milwaukee on
November 22, 1948. His parents were Frank A. Martindeceased and Irma nee Meverden Martin. He graduated from Greenfield High School and joined the Air Force serving in Korea. He then became an outdoor writer and the owner of Wichigan Outdoors Magazine. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his mother Irma Martin ; by his sisters, Mary Martin of South Milwaukee and Janice JackSchroeder of Baltimore, M.D.; brothers, Richard Pat Martin of Richfield, WI, SteveBecky Martin of Racine, David Martin of Racine, Ronald Carol Martin of Pound, Joseph Martin of Caledonia , and Alan Martin of Caledonia. Other survivors include nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank.
Services will by at Heritage Funeral Home, Johnson-Reiss-Klemmer-Scheuerell, 9200 S.27th St., Oak Creek, WI on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 7 p.m. with Rev. Mark Danczyk officiating. Burial will be at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 from 4-7 p.m.
