Passed away surrounded by his family on November 16th, 2018 at the age of 95. Dear husband of Caroline H. (nee Reischl) of 60 years. Loving father of Carrie (Brian) Brunelli, John (Shellby) and Sondra. Proud grandpa of Amanda, Adriana, Gabrielle, Isabella, Sofia and Jacob. Proceeded in death by his parents and sister Norma Baxter, and survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, November 21st from 10am-12pm, followed by funeral service at 12pm. Private interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Gary was a proud veteran of WWII serving in the US Army Air Corps. He worked as a supervisor for the Milwaukee Water Works, with 38 years of service to the City of Milwaukee. He was a past-commander and lifetime member of Louis Travis AmVets Post #14, and a past president of the Giuseppe Garibaldi Society. Gary was deeply honored to participate in the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight in November 2010. If so desired, memorials to the family or to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight greatly appreciated.
