Bruss, Genevieve Anna,
(nee Kojis) Born on August 8th, 1930 in Waterford, WI, passed away on August 15th, 2015 at the age of 85. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Norman. Dear mother of Paul (Jennifer), Patti Axelson, and Marie (David) Kollakowsky. Known as Granny to her 8 grandchildren, Kelly, Kimberly, Kristen, Emily, Wade, Zak, Hannah, and Mason. Beloved sister of Rose Ericksen, Joe Kojis, and Irene Carter. Sister-in-law of Marilyn Kojis, and Don (Gene) Aukland. Also preceded in death by her loving friend and companion Eugene Kaminski. Also survived by many, many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 23rd, 2015 at the FUNERAL HOME from 1-3PM, followed by the funeral service at 3PM. Private interment Arlington Park Cemetery.
Genevieve enjoyed 21 plus years of employment at Walmart as a greeter, and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish.
Our family wishes to thank the countless number of nurses and doctors at St. Luke’s Medical Center, who helped carry her through the last 15 years of her life.
